Segun David Fatudimu
Segun David Fatudimu has over eight years of experience as a Youth Development Strategist. Segun David Fatudimu is the founder and Director of the Sozo networks ( www.sozo.com.ng), an NGO that focuses on increasing the participation of youth in leadership and reducing unemployment in Nigeria using a two-pronged approach that provides professional and leadership development for youths while they volunteer to empower low income teenagers with knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed for life, career, and leadership before they turn 18. He has consulted for over 20 organizations in Nigeria, Uganda, South Africa, and the United States on leadership development, strategic planning, change management, team and volunteer development, fundraising, growth strategies, and market analysis.
In addition to being a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow, Segun is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder at www.drlex.com.ng, a conversational artificial intelligence for health and co-founder at UrDentalPlace a chain of dental clinics in Ibadan, Nigeria. He also serves as the President of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria, where he provides leadership for the Mandela Washington Fellows and over 100,000 YALI Network members in Nigeria.
Segun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from University of Ibadan, Nigeria and certifications in Civic Leadership from Appalachian State University and Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington. His vision is to become a major contributor to youth development globally.
