In my current role as a Regulatory Controller I look after the operational side of finance, including general ledger, treasury, accounting payable, reconciliations and reporting for Africa. I’m also a finance lead for SAM implementation.

In my previous role as a Chief Accounting Officer at AIG responsible for IFRS, Us GAAP, Board and Regulatory reporting for Africa. Looking after the South African business, Uganda and Kenya.

Chartered Accountant South Africa, completed articles in 2007.

Doing CIMA Strategic Level (Only need to write E3 Enterprise Strategy).

My experience includes Financial Reporting (US GAAP, IFRS, Board, Regulatory), External Auditing, Project Management, Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, Corporate Governance and ABC costing among others.

Have experience in Insurance, Retail and Consumer Product, Financial Services, Mining and Public Sector.

Worked on projects in South Africa, United Kingdom, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Dubai, Mauritius, Ghana and Senegal (Managed Zimbabwe and Uganda remotely).
