Sese Shedrack Site
Sese Shedrack Site has more than 10 years’ experience working in the social field. Sese Shedrack Site is currently working for UNICEF in Equatorial Guinea as a child protection officer. She designed a project, Barbarrio which started in 2010 and is growing worldwide for empowering young people at risk of social exclusion. Two national TV channels have made documentaries about the project – Spanish National TV and Equatorial Guinea National TV – and Barbarrio is working closely with institutions, authorities, and other NGOs at a national and international level. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Sese is looking to continue with her project as well as collaborate with YELI, helping to improve Youth Policy in her country and supporting the National Committee for Children’s Rights.
