Sharon Ajiago Baranga

Sharon Ajiago Baranga has over five years experience in journalism with a special focus on covering education, environment, and human interest features. Currently, Sharon is a TV Journalist working with Nation Media Group’s NTV Kenya. Here, Sharon Ajiago Baranga researches, writes scripts, edits, and produces features. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Sharon has won a number of awards with the recent one for being Best in Visual Reporting for Early Childhood Development from the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ). Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Sharon will continue to produce documentaries and features that champion for the right to education for every child and the importance of conserving our environment.
