Shola Ajibade

Mr. Shola Ajibade holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance from the Lagos State College of Science and Technology and is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Institute, London, Fellow Insurance Institute of South Africa and holds an MBA from the University of South Africa.

He is an accomplished reinsurance underwriter with more than 25 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance. He gained his experience serving leading institutions in different capacities.

His last role was with Aon Benfield South Africa where he held the position of Executive (Treaty) for Sub-Saharan Africa and was previously the Senior Broker for West Africa and Portuguese markets.

Prior to joining Aon Benfield he worked at Swiss Re South Africa and Swiss Re Ivory Coast. He also worked in senior executive positions at United African Insurance Brokers (UAIB) Nigeria, The Lion of Africa Insurance Company, Nigeria and Africa Re, Nigeria from where he started his career as an Underwriting Assistant.
