Sibongile Martino was appointed Chief of Staff at BCX in April 2018. A natural change agent, she has more than 10 years’ experience in business and risk management, and brings to BCX new ideas and fresh ways of thinking to drive sustained business growth and organisational effectiveness.

Enthusiastic and outgoing, Sibongile can build and sustain good relationships with people, which has proven to be beneficial in driving change, and influencing others – directly and indirectly.

Prior to joining BCX, Sibongile spent a significant part of her career in Financial Services focusing on operational and strategic risk management geared to create and protect value, her portfolio includes successful implementation of IT Governance, aligning IT with business strategies and goals.

Sibongile leads with integrity, and radiates a sense of energy, vitality and will. She is committed to people development and has built strong relationships throughout her career with various industry stakeholders and regulators.
