Sindiswa Msomi

Sindiswa Msomi is a luscious, songstress, owner and founder of an upcoming online clothing boutique, La Perfecto, along with an events company Azande Concepts. Her singing career began at the Holiness Union Church in her native Pietermaritzburg where Sindiswa Msomi was part of “Singing For Joy”. The group toured the USA in 2007, visiting Atlanta, Florida, Orlando, and Savannah (With a personal highlight of singing at Disney world).

After some time in the group, she moved to Durban where she had brief spells at Greyhound, Dimension Data & more recently at Sanlam Private Wealth. Sindiswa’s intention was always to pursue a career in music. She teamed up with the up and coming pair in South Africa, KZN DJ’s, DJ Mngadi and DJ Nastor. The three joined forces to release a single titled Azange which Sindiswa wrote and sang.
The song enjoyed great success in a short period and went as high as number #9 on the UKhozi FM Top 20, the country’s largest radio station. The music video also enjoyed good rotation on all the music channels available in the country. On the back of this success, Sindiswa was approached by Kwaito legend and music icon, Arthur Mafokate. She became the first artist from KZN to sign with the label and her debut single “Ngikulindile” was included on the Sabc 1 Summa Ya di Summa compilation which later went on to int the Metro Music Award for Best Compilation. She is currently working on her album which is due for release later on this year.
