Sithembiso Sterra Ngqezana better known as ‘Sterra’. Was born in PE, South Africa. He is a humble and outgoing person who respects other people’s opinions. He is a dedicated person and he has passion to everything that he does.

Sithembiso Sterra Ngqezana did his high school at Cowan High School where he was an athlete and a soccer player. An educator by profession. On his first year as an educator, he was elected as a sports convener for Western region, in the Nelson Mandela metropolitan

1996 – 2007 he started working for community radio platforms (Campus Bay fm now known as Bay fm, now defunct Ubuntu fm and Nkqubela fm) performing duties as sports anchor and including programming which is an important planning stage in broadcasting. These twelve years have fine tuned his skills in dealing with community based sports affairs such as developmental sport, and this environment helped prepare him for the public broadcast market, where also grassroots sports are elevated to issues of national importance. His passion and love for grassroots sport was nurtured during these years. 2007 he then started at Umhlobo Wenene fm as a sports anchor on weekends (15:00-18:00 Sat and Sun).
