Siyabonga Beyile
Siyabonga Beyile is a 23 year old South African Entrepreneur and founder of The Threaded Man Africa’s largest fashion portal & Siya Beyile Holdings.
With a nod from Forbes Africa, through his listing on the highly acclaimed 30 under 30 list, his career path reads as that of someone who has made it their life’s work to go beyond doing business as usual. His interests and influence have seen him become a celebrated business man, speaker and thought leader on all things fashion & lifestyle, tech and sustainability in Africa.
The Eastern Cape native was born on 7th December 1993, and as a young man formed his identity at Wynberg Boys’ High School and later furthered his studies at one of South Africa leading fashion schools known as LISOF. Siyabonga Beyile entrepreneurial journey began when he put his studies on hold and decided to challenge himself to turn his blog called “The Threaded Man” into a profitable business.
The evolution of the brand will now see the launch of the Threaded Network which will house: TTMAFRICA.co.za, Threadcount Africa Magazine, The Threaded Exchange Podcast and a clothing brand. All of Beyile’s pursuits are about reshaping the industry – not only in South Africa, but on an international scale. Through his hands an unexpected spirit of African style finds a new outlet, which has been the draw card in attracting partnerships and working relationships with local and international brands including Hugo by Hugo Boss, Vaseline Men, TITAN Watches & McCallan amongst others.
