Solomon Rabewu
Solomon’s role as the General Manager – Enterprise Sales is to develop and maintain a robust Sales Strategy for the Enterprise market segment (Corporates, Government and Licensed Operators) that will drive sales and revenue growth thus contributing towards the delivery of Shareholder value for BTC.
Solomon will direct operational management of the Enterprise Sales Division within the framework of an agreed Corporate Strategy and to meet operational targets to derive some return on investment, profitability and customer satisfaction through effective Client Relationship Management (CRM). He will also be responsible for positioning BTC to be able to compete effectively in a highly competitive telecommunications market for Fixed and Mobile products to meet set revenue targets for the relevant segment.
He has 28 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry having spent his entire career at BTC and rising through the ranks. Solomon holds a Diploma in Telecomm Management and a Diploma in Telecommunications (C&C part2) both attained from CTO & Alliances Consulting (Advanced Diploma on Telecommunication Technician by City & guilds). He has also undergone Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) with the University of Stellenbosch. He is currently studying for Charted Company Secretaries.
