Sophie Ndaba Lichaba

Sophie Ndaba Lichaba is a popular South African actor with over 22 years of industry experience. She is know for playing Queen Moroka on Generations in South Africa. Sophie Ndaba Lichaba spent most of her young life living at an orphanage foster homes and she knows firsthand, how it feels like to have a dream that seemed impossible and improbable, yet inevitable. She received love from people she had no blood relations to and this is the very principle that the Sophie Foundation of Hope is built on. Spreading the message of CARE, not just for your own, but for those who are less fortunate than you! It’s not easy to get people to be inspired to GIVE, but given the love that Sophie enjoys from millions of South Africans, it makes this mission seem achievable. Sophie’s biological parents suffered from years of hypertension and diabetes which eventually led to renal failure. A factor that really worsened their condition was the lack of knowledge on how to deal with this illness. Part of the principles of the Sophie Foundation of Hope is to educate and inspire South Africans to care, and once again, not only for their own but those who need help and knowledge.
