Stephen Goldberg

Stephen, who qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999, completed his articles at Grant Thornton Kessel Feinstein, thereafter joining the investment banking business of Peregrine Holdings Limited, where he was involved in the execution of private equity transactions as well as providing corporate finance advisory services to several of Peregrine’s clients.

In September 2002, Stephen joined Buffet Investments Proprietary Limited (‘Buffet’) and was involved in identifying, implementing and managing several private equity transactions in a variety of industries.

Stephen sat on the boards of various investee companies, including Sally Williams Fine Foods, Eazi Access Rentals, Kevro, The Creative Counsel and the interests of Buffet. He also guided the various executives involved in the underlying operations. After leaving Buffet in December 2008, he co-founded Exit Holdings SA, an investment holding company with interests in FMCG distribution, consumer electronics and financial services.
