Stephen Rushton

Stephen Rushton started his career in 2008 at KPMG, performing financial statement audits and supervising audit teams. Whilst at KPMG, he was also involved in presenting technical and soft skills training to groups and as a consultant in the Quantitative & Economic Analysis unit. In 2011, he became the Chief Financial Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle, a commercial real estate services company. Here he was involved with management, finance, strategy development, human resources, information technology, legal and compliance. Since 2013, he has been working for Thebe Investment Corporation where he specialises in mergers, acquisitions, disposals, debt raising, deal structuring and B-BBEE structuring across multiple industries.
