Susana Serwah Dartey
Susana Dartey has over 10 years’ experience in various fields in the community development sector. Currently, Susana is a project officer for Theater for Social Change (TFSC), where she focuses on planning and implementing projects. She is currently running a project that seeks to create a safe space for formal and current female sex workers to respect their rights and dignity. Susana Serwah Dartey also manages Jamestown Community Theater Center, a space in the community where young people can meet to develop their talents. Susana holds a National Open College Network certificate in Forum Theatre, awarded by St Mary’s University, London. Upon return to her home country, Susana plans to establish the first ever organization of sex workers, for them, by them and with them. This will create a safe space for these women to learn, providing alternative livelihood opportunities to formal and current female sex workers in Ghana.
