Sxperstar Kxsh has the name Kush (Hebrews Spelling) is a biblical name found in the old testament as he was a warrior in his great nation on earth (1 Chronicles 1:10). At the age of 15 Sxperstar Kxsh started recording solo demos and duo demos with DJ AJ and would give them to Arthur Mafokate who is his uncle and mentor. Sxperstar Kxsh started recording at 999 music at the age of 16. In his high school years he would go to Yfm Full Clip – a hip hop show that is hosted on Thursdays and he would amaze the listeners with his freestyles. He studied at Academy of Sound Engineering at SABC, the best Sound Engineering school in South Africa. He then worked at 999 music as an artist promoter, PR and marketing in 999 music which is owend by Arthur Mafokate. Later he got back as a full time artist and he would work with the greatest musicians in S.A. such as Jamela, Arthur Mafokate, Chomee, Ishmael, Da Les, DJ AJ and many more. His first Solo single he released hit 2, 500 downloads in two weeks on his own promoting via Kasi mp3. His second song where he was featured by Chomee called ‘Score Dem Goals’ was the AFCON Cup anthem for South African team Bafana Bafana which hit over 29, 000 views on YouTube.

The song “Score Dem Goals” by Chomee ft. Sxperstar Kxsh got him appearance on newspapers like Sowetan. Sxperstar Kxsh also appeared on Times of Swaziland (Swaziland’s most selling paper) with Hip Hop musician Crax. He performed with Chomee on Etv Sunrise and Etv Club 808. He also got a chance to perform on one of DJ AJs set on Live Amp SABC 1. He performed at Yo tv (SABC1) twice and had interviews on Soweto tv (Street Radio and Kasi Vibe); Vuzu and After Party (a show that played on SABC 1). He shot an advert for KFC “Demo Tape” which got aired on tv for 6 months. He was also interviewed on Jack Daniel’s Music Scout: Dj T-Bo Touch . Sxperstar Kxsh has a Twittwer account and Instagram account and has over 7, 000 followers on Twittwer @SxperstarKxsh and over 7, 000 follwers on Instagram @Sxperstar_Kxsh which Instagram he got recently late December in 2015 and its growing quickly. He is now releasing a new hip hop project by 1st Class which involves artist like Ishmael, Crimson Blu and Teekay. He has only started and excited to make waves with the 999 team.
