Tahle
Tahle is a Zimbabwean musician who is currently signed to Jah Prayzah‘s Military Touch Movement Label. Born Robyn Anesu Dawanyi, Tahle was home schooled for vocal training by her mother, who is both a vocalist and songwriter. She received invaluable training from Eisteddfod adjudicators which has contributed to the amazing vocal skills she possesses.
Tahle achieved a phenomenal track record at the Eisteddfod and in her high school year walked away with 10 honours awards and eight trophies. She held the title of Best Vocalist and Musicality for three years. Her genre orientation is classic, contemporary and jazz in its many colors.
Tahle was invited in 2013 to perform with the Prince Edward Boys Jazz band. She became a permanent feature of the boy’s Jazz band for three years. Together they graced Harare International Festival (HIFA).
Tahle was the honorary music guest at Reps Theatre 2015 where she gave an amazing jazz performance at the Afdis sponsored event. She was also featured at the Tourism Awards in 2015 together with her school band.
Tahle’s voice has already started making waves with the song Chekeche which is the Military Touch Movement anthem.
