Taita Kipchirchir Ngetich

Taita Kipchirchir Ngetich has over four years of experience in various fields of entrepreneurship, and innovation in particular. Currently, Taita is the co-founder of Illuminum Greenhouses Kenya, an award-winning startup that is enabling the ‘Internet of things’ to reach the pyramid base of farmers. He also the loves culinary arts and spends most of his free time training youths in entrepreneurship and business development in his home area Kericho. Taita Kipchirchir Ngetich holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nairobi in Mechanical Engineering, where he focused on the automation of processes while ensuring sustainability and reliability. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Taita plans to continue his work in innovation and entrepreneurship by providing more modern solutions to the agricultural sector in Kenya.
