Tapgun Josephine Yinoe(Ms)

Tapgun Josephine Yinoe(Ms), Former Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Ms. Josephine Tapgun is a Director in the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria‘s Board. She is an expert psychologist with extensive experience in the Federal Civil Service where she has worked in varying positions for many years.

Tapgun Josephine Yinoe(Ms) provided oversight for the Nigerian Bank of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria and other organizations and liaised with International Organizations in implementing policies of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as Minister. Ms. Josephine was also Assistant Director in both Ministries of the then Power and Steel and that of the Youth Development.She worked as Administrative Officer with the National Planning Commission. She was also responsible for monitoring activities and areas of conflicts between tiers of government as Assistant Chief Consulting Officer for the National Council on Inter-governmental Relations (NCIR).

Ms. Josephine is an alumnus of the University of Jos where she earned a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Psychology in 1989 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Psychology.
