Teta Ilibagiza Isibo
Teta is an urban planner turned fashion entrepreneur who owns a Rwandan brand called Inzuki designs. She has been running her company full time for four years and has managed to grow it into a renown brand with international reach. As the managing director, she oversees marketing and branding, strategic planning, and financial management. She is also the chief designer and manages the process from design concept to final product, working with the different artisan groups that make the products. Teta has acquired management, marketing, and communication skills from the experience of running and growing her own company. She volunteers as a mentor for three different organizations working to empower young girls, and is the vice president of the arts-and-crafts sector of the youth chamber of Rwanda’s private-sector federation. Teta hopes to gain a more global business perspective and expand her business globally on her return from the Fellowship.
