Thejane Scott Malakane

Thejane Malakane has over 12 years of experience in the field of primary education, particularly in the technology and ICT sector. Thejane is an ICT Lead and Coordinator at Toloane Primary School where he focuses on developing ICT instructional material and facilitating day to day learning. Thejane is an avid conservationist and environmentalist. He mobilizes his students in various environmental exercises and activities. He plans annual and seasonal activities like Earth Day, Tree Planting Day as well as land filling exercises around the school periphery. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Thejane plans to establish an environmental organization that focuses on advocacy for environmental sustainability.
