Theophile Akoi Bore

Theophile Akoi Bore

Theophile Akoi Bore is a project manager and deputy general manager of Guineenne d’Assistance Famille et Domicile (GAFD), an organization that provides school dropouts and semi-skilled individuals with entrepreneurship and housekeeping training to help children and the elderly in Guinea. Once trained, GAFD helps to secure jobs for their participants; the organization also provides part time jobs to students to help them generate income for their tuition and living expenses while they are in school. Theophile focuses on curbing the high levels of unemployment in his society and is passionate about helping the individuals he works with secure employment. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), he plans to continue working to create more jobs, establish a new training center, and train more people in his society. Theophile Akoi Bore plans to achieve these ambitions by collaborating with local institutions and raising awareness in the community about the importance of job training.
