Theophilus Michael Odaudu

Theophilus Michael Odaudu is a lawyer with over four years of experience. Theophilus Michael Odaudu works with the Kogi State Ministry of Justice in Nigeria, and is responsible for case file review, legal drafting, and alternative dispute resolution. He is a staunch promoter of disability rights in Nigeria. He also volunteers as legal adviser to an NGO that focuses on the inclusion of people with disabilities. As a human rights advocate, Theophilus is involved in human-rights sensitization activities within his community, especially as they relates to the rights of the child. Theophilus holds a master’s degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he focused on International Law and the practice of human rights. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Theophilus intends to strengthen his work in the promotion of human rights of vulnerable groups, with particular emphasis on children and persons with disabilities.
