Tony Christodoulou

Tony is the CIO of the EMEA Region for American Tower Corporation, Global Fortune 500 Company. He is a Senior I.T Executive and strategic operational & execution specialist with broad experience in many avenues of business, largely in the Financial and Telecommunications Sector based in South Africa. He has managed many large complex cross-border programmes and projects in all aspects from Operations, Compliance, I.T and Strategy to process efficiencies Innovation and integration within Retail/Corporate Banking and Telco infrastructure, Tower deployments and operations. He Managed work-streams within the Barclays-Absa merger and acquisition in 2006, driven strategic alignment (from standardisation to decentralization initiatives), was heavily involved in the American Tower-Airtel Acquisition and integration in Nigeria in 2015, the ATC/FPS Tower France Acquisition in 2017 and the Telkom assets acquisition in Kenya in 2018.. Tony Christodoulou is also an Adjunct Faculty of Gordon Institute of Business Science in his spare time on their suite of programmes, passionate in the field of Digital Disruption, Technology Strategy, Effective Execution & Project Management, Strategic Project Leadership, Process Excellence, Innovation and Knowledge Management.
