Tony Mwangi

Tony Mwangi is the current CEO of Unaitas, a deposit taking Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO). Tony Mwangi worked with Lions Motors ltd, a company dealing with new/second hand vehicle, as an accountant, also along the subsidiary of lion was Zion insurance agency and Cadillac LTD, this was between 1997-1999- February.

Mwangi joined Unaitas Financial service provider in June 1999 , as the first internal auditor, then moved on to finance manager, deputy general Manager before becoming the CEO in 2005. Concurrently working very closely with the Apex bodies within the financial sector, as well as various assignment and advisory role in the financial industry.

His career in Unaitas has earned various prestigious recognition which include an acclaim speakers- opportunities by the World council of credit organizations [WOCCU] and CEO of the year awards by Centre of corporate governance ICPSK- Champion of Excellence in corporate governance.
