Tozama Ngcongolo
Born on the 29 November many moons ago, Tozama Ngcongolo, after Matric, worked as an Admin Clerk for the THEN Bantu Administration Board (BAB) – Ebhodini kwaLanga, in Cape Town. She then went to study BA Social work at UWC and Honors in Social Development at UCT. She has worked for different NGO’s and for South African Police Service (SAPS) as the Western Cape Provincial HIV/AIDS program manager.
Presently, she is employed on a full-time basis, by the Department of Social Development, within the Children and Families Directorate – Child Care and Protection programme, as a Social Work Policy Developer.
Tozama Ngcongolo loves and fears God. She is a woman of God and a woman of devotion who has been used by God to inspire people over the air as a part time Radio Tygerberg presenter, presenting a program called, “Christianity and Social Development”/ “Uphuhliso nobu Krestu” (between 2002 – 2006). She is now a part time presenter of the Children’s Sunday school program of SABC Umhlobo Wenene Radio Station (Sakh’Abantwana kuKholo ne Ngqiqo).
She does a lot of motivational talks to young people, church groups and women (Women’s talks being her passion). This was developed as she listened to both her late parents who used to do a lot of motivational talks.
She also gets hired as a program director for small and big functions and events (part time)
She trusts the Lord to guide her in everything she does, and to continue blessing her to be a blessing to others. The word of God in Philippians 4:13 is her pillar of strength and what keeps her going. “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME”
