Trevor Adams
Trevor was appointed to the Group Exco in 2009 and was Group Executive of Balance Sheet Management before being appointed as Group Chief Risk Officer in 2014. Trevor led the group’s successful Basel II and III implementations, and the significant enhancement of risk, capital and balance sheet management across the group. Trevor is now leading the group’s expansive Regulatory Change Programme, including anti-money-laundering, combating the financing of terrorism and sanctions, IFRS 9, Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision 239, conduct risk and cyber resilience. Before joining the group in 1996 Trevor was a partner at Deloitte, where he specialized in banking and risk management after several years in audit, and so collectively has 29 years’ banking-related experience.
