Ukinebo Omorowa Dare
Ukinebo Dare trains unemployed youth and connects them to job opportunities; she has over seven years of experience in youth development and job creation. She is the C.E.O. of Poise Graduate Finishing Academy (PGFA), where she designed the PSENSE Employability Curriculum. The PSENSE employability curriculum has achieved a record 87% employment rate and is endorsed by the National Universities Commission in Nigeria for implementation by higher institutions. Uki also serves as the Program Director of Ekobits, an academy that provides ICT and digital design training to youth from disadvantaged communities and connects them to opportunities to earn a good living. Uki holds a master’s degree in Management from the University of Bradford, School of Management, United Kingdom. The impact of her work has earned her various awards including the Ford Foundation Prize for Youth Employment at the Future Awards Africa. She is passionate about creating social mobility via skills development and she setup the academies to improve the employability and entrepreneurial achievements of young people. Over 24,000 youth across Nigeria have benefited from these programs and on her return, she plans to partner with institutions to impact more youth and train other trainers across Nigeria.
