Ulala Carol Kondowe
Ulala Kondowe has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and five years’ experience as a secondary school teacher at Chichiri Secondary School. She founded Chichiri Girls Network, an initiative that focuses on advocating for the girl child to stay in school. Ulala provides mentorship, guidance, and counseling to girls to help them overcome challenges they face in acquiring education. She also connects needy students to women mentors who assist them financially and act as role models. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Ulala plans to establish an NGO that will advocate for education for the girl child, both in the rural areas and nationwide.
