Valentina Awino Ndolo
Valentina Awino Ndolo is a biochemist and global health professional with over four years of experience in infectious disease research. Valentina Awino Ndolo currently works as a part-time environmental health lecturer at Great Lakes University. She is also the founder of the STEMing Africa Initiative, an organization that seeks to increase the participation of Kenyan women in STEM by helping talented graduates secure admission and full scholarships for graduate studies at leading universities around the world. Valentina has won awards from the Forum for African Women Educationalists, UNESCO, and the Western Union for her work. She graduated from the University of Oxford in 2016. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she hopes to pursue her Ph.D. and continue mentoring young women in science.
