Vicus Bouwer

Vicus Bouwer left the accounting profession in 2002 and started working in the retail sector in South Africa working for some main retailers. He joined Broll in 2013 with a focus on new retail developments in Sub-Saharan Africa. His scope of work involved sourcing of tenants and providing strategic input with regard to the right sizing of the Mall, location, tenant mix, rental levels etc. Vicus has also been instrumental in identifying new retail opportunities and helping retailers expand into these markets. Vicus Bouwer currently works closely with International and South African retailers looking to expand into various Sub-Saharan African countries. He also looks after the business operations in SADC which includes growing the various service lines. Vicus has been involved in the leasing of various malls across Sub Sahara Africa, including Angola, Namibia, Ghana, Mozambique, DRC and Zambia.
