Warsama Ali Ahmed
Warsama Ali Ahmed has over three years of experience in caring for community health. Currently, Warsama is the head of the community medical center in Section 7 in Djibouti city, which provides health services for more than 40,000 people and treats especially vulnerable patients with HIV and tuberculosis. Warsama Ali Ahmed also volunteers in his local organization called the Active Young for Section 7, which intervenes in different areas like sports, education, and health in order to help poor people and sensitize the youth against extremism. Warsama holds a Doctorate of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Santiago de Cuba. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Warsama plans to continue his work in health care.
