Werner Opperman

Werner Opperman has a BCom (Law) degree from Stellenbosch, MCom (Financial Management) from the University of Cape Town and is a CAIA Charter holder. He works as an Investment Professional with over 14 years of broad experience in financial markets.

Currently a senior member of the 27four Investment Committee overseeing close to R70 billion, with responsibility for all Alternative Investments. He is the team’s core problem solver and innovator, constantly looking for the next opportunity to give 27four an exploitable advantage. Werner was one of the first South Africans to take up e-Residency card after Estonia opened its e-Residency pick-up point in Johannesburg.
