William Mazingi Natey

William Mazingi Natey, With five years experience in different areas of engineering, including water treatment, yogurt production, cigarette manufacturing, safety, and quality control, William Mazingi Natey is currently working at the cement plant in Songololo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as an Analyst in Quality Control. Since and early age, William has been interested in taking care of street children. He often sponsors their football competitions in his community; he owns Aigle Royal de Kinshaasa Football Academy. He is a a spiritual leader, a social mentor, and a soccer coach through the Lubamba Foundation. Additionally, he is a Sunday school teacher for his church community. William is a Congolese graduate in Chemical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa. He also has a certificate in worship and leadership from theology school. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, William plans to create a yogurt business, which will enable him to finance his philanthropic activities through his Royal Eagle Foundation, an organization that works with underprivileged children, young mothers, and women.
