Yvon Jean Boris Romuald
Romuald Yvon Jean Boris has over six years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on community leadership. Currently, Romuald is a voluntary Regional Representative of the NGO Big Red Earth, where Yvon Jean Boris Romuald focuses on leading students to effectively apply their knowledge to improve rural community productivity for the region. Romuald holds a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Toliara, has a background training on civic competences through the program From Subject to Citizen (S2C) from YMCA Madagascar, a certificate in leadership from YMCA in Gjovic, Norway, and a Prosocial Certificate in Group Coordination from the Positive Education Action-Research (PEAR) Laboratory, University of Toliara. Romuald hopes to deepen his knowledge of community leadership as well as extend his network with African and American civic leaders when in the U.S.A. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Romuald plans to lead students to apply their knowledge to improve rural community productivity.
